Hello there and welcome! Summer is fun but can be completely overwhelming. That’s why today I’m talking about four practical ways for you to keep your sanity with your kids at home this summer. Let’s dive in!
One of the best things to do is to keep a schedule to your day, especially if you are home with your kids all day and every day throughout the summer. Your daily schedule can include play time inside, outside time, what times during the day the kids can have a snack, academic/reading time to keep up on those school skills, and quiet time.
Not only do you want to include those different activities during the day, but you also want to include the specific time that each of those activities happen. Maybe the morning is outside time before it gets too hot and after lunch is quiet time so the little ones can take a nap.
